This Monday morning, according to our exclusive information, an individual has introduced himself by car on the slopes of Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport (read here). After a chase with the police, the individual was arrested. The police had to block several planes on takeoff, but also landing. Flights had to be diverted to other airports. Thus, the Easy Jet flight from Berlin is diverted to Geneva, the Air Algerie flight is diverted to Marseille, Air Corsica from Ajaccio also on Marseille, the Transavia France flight from Faro is sent back to Grenoble. Finally, Tunisair from Tunis is diverted to Nice. The list goes on from minute to minute. Many delays are also expected, no more aircraft take off at the moment. Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport is currently still blocked.
